On March 10, 2026, at the age of 71, the famous Jezkazgan footballer Alexander Kondratyuk passed away.
A graduate of Minsk’s “Dynamo,” he began his football career in 1977 with FC “Traktor” (Minsk) and also played for the Belarusian teams “Traktor” (Minsk) and “Dynamo” (Brest).
In 1982, he moved to Jezkazgan. He spent the best years of his career delighting thousands of fans with his exceptional skill and talent, playing for “Jezkazganets”/“Metallurg,” the Nikolsk (now Satpayev) “Gornyak,” and Semipalatinsk’s “Spartak” (1987), appearing in over 200 matches for these clubs.
He retired from professional football in 1995.
