KFF to build 100 mini-football pitches as FIFA Arena program kicks off
The Kazakhstan Football Federation is among 11 national associations selected by the International Football Federation (FIFA) to implement the global infrastructure project FIFA Arena.
As part of this initiative, 100 modern mini-football pitches will be built in Kazakhstan's schools.
The FIFA Arena project envisages the installation of a minimum of 1,000 mini-pitches globally, each 20 x 40 pitch will meet the latest FIFA technical standards. The project is focused on providing children and youth with affordable, quality and safe football infrastructure.
The FIFA Arena project will use a new generation of modern artificial turf, which does not require the use of crumb rubber. This solution makes playgrounds more environmentally friendly, easy to maintain and safe for children and youth.
Together with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakthstan, 100 schools will be identified for the implementation of this initiative during the next two years. The first facilities will be built in the cities of Khromtau and Kokshetau.
